St. Anthony's 125th Anniversary Committee - The next meeting is on February 26th, 2012. Please consider becoming a member of this committee. We want to make this anniversary of our Parish a great one. 

Youth Altar Servers Meeting
- Saturday, February 25th - Any youth who would like to join us please feel free to attend. The meeting begins at 10:00 am. Lunch will be served. Any questions, please phone Marilyn Brennan (470-7260)

Adult Bible Study
- Every Sunday evening at the church. All are welcome. Contact Tera for more information (472-0694)

 
Parish Council - Next Meeting is on Sunday, March 11th at 6:30 pm in the Rectory.

Liturgy Committee - Next meeting is on Tuesday, March 13th at 7:30 pm in the Rectory.  Anyone interested in taking part in any of the Liturgical Ministries please contact Cathy Bowlen at 453-9641 or bowlen@nbnet.nb.ca. If you would like to have an opportunity to meet members of our faith community, joining one of the Liturgy  Ministries could be for you!

Parish Nursing Committee - Next Meeting is on Monday, March 12th at 6:30 pm at the rectory . 

"Touched by Cancer" Mass
:  Every third Friday of the month at 7:00 PM. Virtually everyone's life has been affected in some way by cancer. Come, pray with us and receive the Sacrament of Anointing.  March's "Touched by Cancer" Mass is Friday, March 16th at 7:00 pm.

St. Anthony's Knitters
- will meet Tuesday, March 13th from 1:30 - 3:30 pm in the Rectory.

New Horizons for Seniors Programs

Quilting 
- Every Wednesday from 1:00 - 4:00 pm. No experience is necessary, we will teach you. Come out and see how it has begun and then take your first stitches. If you have any questions, please call Gail Mitchell (472-2644). 

Painting class with Catherine Karnes Munn
- Two sessions, one in the forenoon and the other in the afternoon, are held each Tuesday in the church hall.

Yoga Classes with Nancy Anderson
- Each Monday in the Church hall from 10:15 am - 11:15 am. 

Our Choirs' News
- Our choirs welcome new members. If interested in joining one of our choirs, contact Henry Belliveau (Senior Choir) at 472-2637. They practice on Wednesday afternoons at 2:00 pm,; or Suzanne Megarity (Folk Choir) at 472-6594. They practice on Monday evenings at 7:00 pm.

Parish Calendar - This amazing 16 month calendar, displaying photos taken by 15 parishioners from the Photography Class, is on sale now. Cost is now $8.00 with the proceeds going to support our Parish Nursing Program. 
 
Offertory Envelopes or Automatic Debit: If you are a new member of our Parish and would like to use regular offertory envelopes, please contact the office (444-6010). If Automatic Debit would be more convenient for you, please contact Greg Feener (472-9364). Comment made by a member, "When I am away, I don't have to play 'catch up'. I know my contribution is all looked after."

Seniors Taxi Service: If you or someone you know is having trouble finding transportation for Mass or parish functions, call Loyal Taxi (455-6789). This free service is provided to help Seniors attend parish functions.

Home Visits:  Volunteers are invited to accompany our pastor on home visits. If you have an hour or so to give and would like to join the team and help on future visits, please contact Anita (472-7575)

Elite 90's Club: This club recognizes parishioners and friends who have celebrated their 90th birthday! Please contact Irene (444-6010) so that we many include you, a relative or a friend to this unique circle of parishioners. The newest member is Cecelia McCann, a resident of "Terrace on Cliffe", who is 100 years young!

St. Theresa's Parish 50th Annversary Mission - Come and celebrate St. Theresa's Parish 50th Anniversary with a special anniversary mission on Monday and Tuesday evenings, Feb. 20th & 21st at 7:00 pm in the church. Guest speaker will be Fr. Bill Brennan. Everyone is welcome. 

St. Dunstan's CWL Pancake Supper
- Tuesday, February 21st from 4:30 - 6:00 pm in the Helen O'Connor Hall MBFC. Pancakes, sausages, beans and desserts. Adults $6.00, children $3.00. Quilt tickets will also be on sale. 

St. Theresa's CWL
- will host its 11th Annual Luncheon Bridge on Thursday, February 23rd at 12:00 noon in the Church hall. All bidge players are welcome. Book your table now. The cost is $40.00 per table. Call Leona Ryan (472-7453). Storm date for this
event will be Friday, February 24th.

Eucharistic Adoration Presentation
- Sunday, February 26th from 1:30 - 3:00 pm at Sts. John and Paul church, 727 New Maryland Highway. Presenter - Rev. Dr. Michael McGowan. All are welcome. 

St. Patrick's Concert
- The Irish Canadian Cultural Association of NB , F'ton Chapter presents a concert: "Irish Night" featuring Irish/Celtic fiddler Kathleen Gorey-McSorley with Carolyn Holyoke at the Playhouse in Fredericton on March 9th, 2012 at 7:30 pm. Tickets available at the Playhouse Box Office by phone (486-8344) or online at www.theplayhouse.ca. Special Guests - "The Stanford School of Irish Dance".


Hospital Pastoral Care Coordinator
-
The Diocese of Saint John is seeking a Lay Minister/Coodinator of Roman Catholic Pastoral Care at the DECH. The position starts early in the New Year 2012. It is a part-time position (20 hours per week.). The person should have organizational skills (setting schedules, etc. for 15 volunteers). CPE background is an asset. The person should be comfortable in a hospital setting in order to minister to the sick. There is a continuing education component for volunteers and recruitment. For more information, contact Fr. Meals to Wheels Senior Dining Out - Anyone 60 years and older is invited to a noon hour fellowship activity with peers, a nutritious hot meal, and entertainment. Every Tuesday from 11:30 am - 1:00 pm. cost is $7.50 and transportation is provided if needed. We are also recruiting additional drivers and entertainers for the program. If you play an instrument, participate in a choir, dance group or other entertaining activity, and are willing to donate one half hour of your time, we would love to hear from you.
